A Good Lunchbreak: Word For Word with Kristin Chenoweth

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Today kicks off Bryant Park’s Word for Word, a series of free events where authors and celebrities who write will speak about their recent projects.  It actually started Saturday with a thing about Children’s Books, but those don’t count.

As you eat a”wholesome” salad with chickenless chicken that was just mummified in plastic, Kristin Chenoweth will remind you that you can hope to dream as she speaks about her ascension from Oklahoma beauty queen to former Oklahoma beauty queen and Broadway leading lady, which she chronicles in her memoir A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages. She has also won a TONY, has music albums, been in movies, appeared on an FHM cover, and laid bare naked on a tree branch (I guess, maybe it’s not her).

When: Wednesday, May 13 @ 12:30pm '“ 1:45pm
Where: Bryant Park Reading Room (42nd Street btwn the back of the NYPL & 6th Ave by burgundy and white umbrellas)
