FREE Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

My questions when I heard about FREE Slurpee Day were this: one is there a limit on the number of free Slurpees you can get?,  and two what are the flavors going to be?

Not surprisingly, it’s only one Slurpee per customer. Also, it’s the tiniest, 7.11-ounce size. However they’re probably not going to remember if you go back multiple times, because of shift changes and stuff, AND they’d have no way to know if you hit up several locations. So really the number of free Slurpees is only limited by your ambition.

The flavors at the 140 Church Street 7-Eleven are wild cherry, Mountain Dew, pina colada, and Coca-Cola, which I have always thought is the worst of the Slurpee flavors. They wouldn’t tell me the flavors at the 42nd Street location, because they were 'œtoo busy,' but apparently they have a lot more. So find a 7-Eleven near you today and get FREE Slurpees!

Katy B. - Economic Inexpert

Katy B. grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the home of Gerald R. Ford, Andy Richter, and, at one point, the guy who wrote Mr. Holland's Opus. She moved to NYC for her degree in library science, and is now in the Media Studies program at The New School. She hopes to one day be a film studies librarian. Ask her anything about Dewey Decimal – anything! – and she will roll her eyes because academic libraries use Library of Congress. Durrr.
