Pumpkin Carving and FREE Beer Today at Luckydog

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Why carve a pumpkin sober, like all those loser elementary school students, when you could come to Luckydog and carve one drunk? They are giving away FREE beer from 2-7 during their pumpkin carving contest. It’s BYOP, so make sure to purchase a pumpkin somewhere first before you attempt to carve it.

I still don’t know what I am going to carve. To be honest, Halloween is starting to require a little too much creativity for me. I have PAPERS due. Maybe I will just make a post-postmodern pumpkin, in which instead of carving it, I cover it with gasoline and light it on fire on the sidewalk. Orrr… I will do an image of Wall-e? That would be pretty cute.

FREE Beer and Pumpkin Carving
Sunday, Oct. 24th, 2pm – the keg runs out
303 Bedford Ave. near S. 1st

Katy B. - Economic Inexpert

Katy B. grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the home of Gerald R. Ford, Andy Richter, and, at one point, the guy who wrote Mr. Holland's Opus. She moved to NYC for her degree in library science, and is now in the Media Studies program at The New School. She hopes to one day be a film studies librarian. Ask her anything about Dewey Decimal – anything! – and she will roll her eyes because academic libraries use Library of Congress. Durrr.
