FREE ICE CREAM YAY!!!!!!
Good news to everybody! Spring reared its well-tempered head yesterday and got us all to Ewan-McGregor-in-Trainspotting levels of fiending for a fix of sunshine. Unfortunately, NYC went all Seattle today and its gray as the line between love and hate, but we must still remember that soon there shall be strolls through the park, rooftop parties, and, naturally, ICE CREAM!
To celebrate that impending creamy goodness, Ben and Jerry are giving out some of their ice cream totally FREE at their participating stores.
Unfortunately, what with Van Leeuwen and Haagen Dazs clogging up the streets, the B&J purveyors are sadly few and far between. You’ll have to go to some of the denser part of suck in Manhattan (or worse…Jersey) to reap the benefit, and surely the lines will be something fierce. However, just think of the sweet memories of Phish Food, Cherry Garcia, and, personal fave, Oatmeal Cookie Crunch. Like in a Bugs Bunny cartoon they’ll dance around your dreamy thought bubbles until the cashier finally calls you up to give you a heaping scoop of happiness. So take flight and enjoy the sweet, sweet nectar of the blossoming around the corner.
