Updated: Oct 19, 2012 17:13
The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Every week we feature a different person from the community shedding a little light on their life of brokeitude. Who knows, maybe you’ll learn something about the human spirit — probably not.

Wanna be a Broke-Ass of the Week? Holler at us here and we’ll send you the questionnaire.

This week’s featured Broke-Ass is Melodie. A bartender in the NYC area. When asked what she’d like me to include in her intro she said:

“Please hype that I’m a bartender with a bartending blog. I use it to meet people and get into events for free. This is my blog, Drinking is a Sport.

Unfortuately for me, it’s a sport I’m good at. Let’s she what she has to say about being a broke-ass.
