Weird & Wonderful: Depression, Art, and Pop’s Bar

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This time on the Weird & Wonderful podcast we recorded in at Pop’s Bar on 24th St. a legendary dive bar in the heart of the The Mission.

We get into some pretty heavy shit including dealing with depression and how to intervene with when you see someone being harassed.

We also interview Tom Tierney, owner of Pop’s, about the very long history or the bar. And artist Deb Leal pops by and tells us about her rad new art project Handfast Hotel.

This is a really good episode and we touch on some things we’ve never covered before. We’re doing some real shit in this one.
