The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

In a city seemingly being consumed by Duane Reades where the mayor is currently shaking his fist at the Lower East Side going “you kids keep that racket down”, it may seem like your unique options for Halloween week are dwindling. Obviously not gone-we’re still at the nerve center of the world-but you have to find your way through an increasingly thick fog of overpriced bar parties where you cram into a room of people dressed like a sexy version of every union job and pray the bartender will notice you. If that’s your thing, go have a blast and pray no one pukes on you! If not, here are some other options to keep Halloween season weird.
