Broke-Ass of the Week – Plug1 from What I’m Seeing

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Every week we feature a different person from the community shedding a little light on their life of brokeitude.  Who knows, maybe you’ll learn something about the human spirit'probably not.

Wanna be a Broke-Ass of the Week?  Holler at us here and we’ll send you the questionnaire.

This time around our Broke-Ass of the Week is Plug1 from What I’m Seeing.  I sat here for awhile trying to think of a good way to describe his site, but truthfully, it’s not nearly as good as what he says about it.  So here it is verbatim:

WHAT IM SEEING dot com is a San Francisco photo-blog focusing on history, current events, and day-to-day life through the lens of our cameras.  It was born out of an early conversation in which Plug1 & Plug2 expressed a sincere interest in getting to know The City and its people in the most intimate way possible: by walking the streets daily with cameras in hand.      Our snap shots focus on America’s dream metropolis: San Francisco – in all of its splendor and variety.  From abandoned waterfront warehouses to mile high Fi-Di skyscrapers.  Our definition of “straight photography” is keeping one finger on the shutter button, and both feet in the street.
