Mos Def, Curtis Mayfield, and FREE Grey Goose

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you remember, a few months back I hyped a Pacific Standard Time (PST) party that had FREE food from Farmer Brown and some live soul music at 330 Ritch.  It was a lot of fun and of course I was the first one in line to get some of that fried chicken.  Damn that shit was good!

Well the people who do PST are really good at throwing parties.  Tonight seems like it’s gonna be even better than last time.  While there won’t be any free food (sad face), there will be FREE Grey Goose from 10-11pm.  And since it is the official listening party for Mos Def’s new album “The Ecstatic” they’ll be giving out FREE copies of the album as well (I think I just heard the collective sound of hundreds of panties dropping).

But it gets even better.  After the listening party, the night becomes a tribute to one of my personal all-time favorite musicians, Curtis Mayfield.  DJ Sake 1 will be spinning all things Curtis related from 12-1am.  Shit, I might even end up dancing tonight.

Here’s the catch you MUST RSVP BY 4PM TODAY!  Send your name and a plus one to: pacificstandardtime@hotmail.com.  See you tonight!
