Fart Party Book Release Party at Needles & Pens

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Julia Wertz is a favorite of ours over here at Broke-Ass HQ.  Her books and zines are fantastic and both Monica and I check often.  If you remember a bit back Julia was Broke-Ass of the Week.  In fact it’s been our second most read post, just behind the complete and utter shit show that this David Byrne post turned into.  Someone could write a dissertation about the comment section of that fucking post.

This Friday, June 19th, Julia will be back in town (she now lives in Brooklyn), and she’ll be kicking it at Needles and Pens (another favorite of ours), signing copies of her new book Fart Party Vol.2 and drinking beers.  And by “beers” I mean FREE beers for you and me.

So come out and support one of San Francisco’s best loved underground artists (she got her start here doing zines) while she’s here for her homecoming book release party.  I know I’ll be there.  Shit even if you don’t like Julia, at least go for the free beer.
