Okaaaay.  So, technically this happens every Friday (!), but it seems like a lovely stocking stuffer to share with our dear readers who are already on the late shift of their Noel pub crawls or for those who are desperately fleeing their respective gatherings and need a drip set up fast.

So, if you can get to the corner of Lexington and 19th between 9pm and 10pm on Christmas night, amble up to the sturdy bar at the Lexington Club and order yourself a $1 margarita.

Its true.  During this magic hour, on this magic day you can invoke the Christmas spirit or cast it behind you as you feel the sweet burn of agave meander its way towards your undoubtedly over-saturated digestive system.

As the citrus wave washes over you, sit back and bask in the glow of the queer reindeer games.  What did Roseanne say…'œEvery time lesbians kiss, an angel gets its wings.'?

Stephen Torres - Threadbare-Fact Finder (Editor, San Francisco)

Stephen's early years were spent in a boxcar overlooking downtown Los Angeles. From there he moved around the state with his family before settling under the warm blanket of smog that covers suburban Southern California. Moving around led to his inability to stay in one place for very long, but San Francisco has been reeling him back in with its siren song since 1999.
By trade he pours booze, but likes to think he can write and does so occasionally for the SF Bay Guardian, Bold Italic and 7x7. He also likes to enjoy time spent in old eateries, bars and businesses that, by most standards, would have been condemned a long time ago.
