More FREE Local Music Tomorrow Night at Milk Bar

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Flyers!

A couple weeks ago, we tipped you off to FREE music and cheap booze at Milk Bar on Haight and normally I’d be worried about posting an event twice, but Kevin over at Epicsauce has come back from SXSW with another solid lineup of local acts. This isn’t just a night at a local “venue” (read: bar) where the “band” is just the bartender’s friend with an oboe and a drum machine, this is a meticulously curated list of up-and-comers from around the bay who have already started to garner some great press. Just look a that lineup! With four bands: Oakland’s Man/Miracle, San Francisco’s Butterfly Bones, Red Blue Yellow, and Beehive Spirit you won’t be stuck sitting through a set by The Shitty Beatles (it’s not just a clever name). Oh and Red Blue Yellow, by the way, have their own iPhone app that lets you interact with the visuals during the show so you can take yourself and the other audience members on a post-modern trip. Wild!

I let Kevin over at epicsauce.com tell you the rest.

Epicsauce.com Presents:
Man/Miracle, Butterfly Bones, Red Yellow Blue, Beehive Spirit
Thursday, April 1 8pm-late
Milk Bar
1840 Haight St at Stanyan (Upper Haight)

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
