$1 Ice Cream Cones at Three Twins on Saturday!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Organic...and orgasmic

There’s nothing better than ice cream.  Wait, I take that back.  There’s nothing better than organic ice cream.  You know, good for the earth and the animals and all that shit.  BUT wait again.  There’s nothing better than CHEAP, organic ice cream.  Good thing Three Twins is turning one this Saturday!  From 11am – 11pm, stop in to celebrate with $1 cones.  Only got a fiver?  I think you can definitely do five scoops.  Binging has never been so budget-friendly, guys.

There will also be extra special flavors in honor of Saturday’s first annual Harvey Milk Day, like “Harvey Milk & Cookies” and “Rainbow Sherbet” (get it?).  BTW, for a full list of Harvey Milk Day activities, including a street fair, a FREE screening of “Milk” at the Castro Theatre, and a very typical San Francisco-sounding tricycle race, check this out.   Ice cream and Harvey — not too shabby for a Saturday.

Christy Jovanelly - Cheapskate Commentator

When Christy announced she was leaving her family's Southern California home and moving to San Francisco, her mom said, "Have fun in that den of sin." This is the only (however sarcastic) advice Christy has ever taken from her mom, who also told her to join eharmony.com and cover her eyes during sex scenes in movies. Christy puts her creative writing degree to good use by locating the typos on Chinese food menus and spends most of her time challenging friends to all-you-can-eat contests and trying to get that one bartender at Zeitgeist to smile.
