Off the Grid: A Street Food Lover's Paradise at Fort Mason Tonight

If you haven't had tacos from El Tonayense yet, you're just hurting yourself.

What happens when a bunch of street food carts and trucks join forces?  LOTS of eating, obviously, at an awesome FREE event tonight at the Fort Mason Center!

Off the Grid is kind of like Thanksgiving — it brings together people from the same family with many differences and eccentricities for the purpose of one thing:  Giving thanks.  And tonight we shall all give thanks for the amazing street food in San Francisco.

Admission to this event is totally FREE, but the food’s not so bring some cash.  Not TOO much cash, though, unless you’re planning some kind of eating contest, which would be kind of crazy since there’s over 15 vendors slated to show up (including the Chairman Bao truck I’ve been dying to try and my usual go-to, the El Tonayense Taco Truck.)  Check out Off the Grid‘s Facebook page to see a full list of vendors so that you can start salivating early.

By the way, as if this thing could get any better, there will be live music accompanying the masticating masses, like SF’s own The Ferocious Few, who definitely have a full dance card these days.
