Get Drunk While Giving the Finger to Cancer

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Reader Christopher Li got at me a little bit ago to help publicize the fundraiser he’s doing.  Team in Training is an organization that helps people train to run long distance races while raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Christopher has been doing a whole bunch of events to reach his goal of raising $5,000 and Thursday night is your chance to help him out.

On Thursday 7/29, Christopher and his crew will be getting their happy our on at the  The Lush Lounge from 6-10pm.  Give $5 at the door and you’ll get a hand stamp that gets you:

$2 PBR and Tecate
$3 merlot, cab, pinot, and chardonnay
$4 champagne
$5 martini
$5 beer + shot

Not only will you be helping raise money for a good cause, you’ll be getting cheap drinks too.  Everyone wins…except your liver.  Do you think it would be counter productive to have a happy hour fundraiser to help fight cirrhosis?
