Get Cultured Outdoors – Shakespeare in the Park

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

You can tell summer has finally reached the foggy ole city by the bay when Billy Shakespeare and his crew roll into town. Starting today and running through Sunday, September 26th, the professional theater troupe will be performing 'œTwo Men of Verona' for FREE!!!

This version of the comedy is set in a swinging 60s Mod world, complete with kick ass sound track and go go boots galore. Billed as a 'œzany comic caper' it is sure to impress and delight.

You have nine chances to go get all Shakespearey in the park, so you’ll have no excuse not to grab a blankey, lots of wine and head to the Presidio!

PS I thought about writing this post in Iambic Pentameter, but decided against it. You’re welcome.

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
