A Beer Drinking Treasure Hunt

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This photo has nothing to do with the event. It's just further proof that America's youth is getting out of control.

What’s better than going on a treasure hunt?  The possibility of winning a round of drinks!  I just saw this on yelp and I thought it sounded pretty damn cool.  Here’s the full description:

Think fast. Play together. Drink Beer.

Love Treasure Hunts? Love Beer? You’ve come to the right place. Meet us on Tuesday September 14th at the Flagpole on the corner of Grove & Polk.  You and your fellow agents will solve four clues, each leading to a different location. Decode information from all four clue sites to uncover your final destination: a local pub, where you can exchange tales of glory over a cold pint. The first team to the pub with all clues solved gets bragging rights and a round of drinks!

The Hunt lasts about an hour. Food and beer last as long as you want them to!

* $10.00/player, cash or checks only please!

* Come on your own or bring a team of 3-5!

This sounds like a drunker version of the Di Vinci code or some shit doesn’t it?  It seems that Mastermind Treasure Hunts puts this on.  Considering this is the first I’ve heard of them, I’m curious as to what kind of other cool events they do.  Who’s down to do some kind of Broke-Ass treasure hunt?  I am!  Who wants to help me plan it?

This sounds so rad! If I didn’t have so much work to do this week I’d be down.
