SF Weekly's $10 All-You-Can-Drink Happy Hour Tonight — Part Deux

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you missed it last time...redeem yourself tonight!

A few weeks ago, SF Weekly sponsored this awesome happy hour event at The Irish Bank where for only $10, you could pound all the Widmer Hefeweizen and Drifter you and your buddies could handle for two hours.

Understandably, not all of you were able to make it out for this.  After all, Wednesday is hump day.  Whatever that means.  But the good news is that whether you enjoyed this amazing open bar last month or you skipped out, you have a chance to redeem yourself tonight!  Same deal, different venue:  From 5:30pm – 7:30 pm at Irish Times, the complimentary Widmer will flow — and don’t forget that all proceeds benefit the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of the Bay Area.  Once again, binge drink for local youth.  They’re the future and you are a wonderful example of an upstanding citizen.  Ha.

Also, this time around there will be $5 appetizers up for grabs, like calamari, fries, meatballs (!) and onion rings.  Your diet officially begins Thursday.

$10 All-You-Can-Drink Widmer at Irish Times (Benefiting the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of the Bay Area) Wednesday, September 15, 5:30pm – 7:30pm 500 Sacramento St. (btwn Sansome & Leidesdorff) [Financial District]

Christy Jovanelly - Cheapskate Commentator

When Christy announced she was leaving her family's Southern California home and moving to San Francisco, her mom said, "Have fun in that den of sin." This is the only (however sarcastic) advice Christy has ever taken from her mom, who also told her to join eharmony.com and cover her eyes during sex scenes in movies. Christy puts her creative writing degree to good use by locating the typos on Chinese food menus and spends most of her time challenging friends to all-you-can-eat contests and trying to get that one bartender at Zeitgeist to smile.
