Street Threads – THE SHOW

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I am shamelessly obsessed with street style blogs. Sites like The Sartorialist inspire me to go closet-shopping and reinvent my wardrobe in hopes that some day I will look cool enough to be photographed and praised on the interwebs.

Local fashion blogs are especially great because that possibility seems even closer as images of my better-dressed peers pop up daily in my reader. One of the greats is Street Threads, a blog dedicated to San Francisco street fashion, and photographed by Ariel Soto.

This weekend, Ariel and her photos will be on display in the Street Threads show in the Mission, where many of the subjects were caught roaming the streets, looking fine. There will also be books available featuring some of her favorite shots taken over the years. Oh! FREE wine will be offered as well. We mustn’t forget the FREE wine.

Start picking out your most fashionable duds and head on over to Density. This may just be your lucky night!

Street Threads – THE SHOW
Saturday, March 12th, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
