Animal Instinct Inspired Art Show

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This Thursday night, head down to Bricks and Mortar Media in SOMA for some art, alcohol and …animals? Yes, animals.  Let your animal instinct out at a themed art show entitled “We Are All Animals.” Oakland based artist Mary Marxen has gathered up 25 up-and-coming local artists to show their interpretations of living creatures. The multimedia exhibit will run from March 31st -May 13th.

Mix and mingle amongst animalistic drawings, sculptures, graffiti and posters at the opening party. There will be live music performances throughout the night. In honor of all animals, there will be FREE vegan treats, as well as FREE booze from the people behind Brick and Mortar (however, donations are welcome.)

Note to self: DON’T wear your favorite leather jacket just to make a statement. These animal lovers may throw red paint on you and call it art!

We Are All Animals Thursday, March 31st, 7 pm Bricks and Mortar Media 43 Norfolk St. [SOMA]
