Refresh Your Broke-ass at Hayes Valley Farm

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you haven’t been to Hayes Valley Farm, this weekend is the perfect chance to explore and celebrate this great example of urban agriculture. The farm is located on the old freeway on/off ramp, and has brought the community together to grow and provide fresh, amazing produce. There are three volunteer days per week, so if you like what you see, grab some work gloves and prepare to get dirty!

As part of SF Refresh, the farm will be hosting a slew of fun, FREE activities and goodies including Bicycle-powered smoothies, live music, tasty, local food, and lots of giveaways! If you can’t make it to Hayes Valley, there will be other happening at additional locations: Growing Home Community Garden & The Free Farm.

Alison Lambert - Half Price Headliner

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
