57th Annual North Beach Festival

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

As a few prior posts have mentioned, the season of the festival is upon us here in San Francisco. One of those is the 57th annual North Beach Festival. Today is the final day of this two day event. Come check out Washington Square Park and the surrounding area come alive.

There will be plenty to keep you busy – arts and crafts booths, food booths, street painting, live music, and plenty of booze. I actually attended last year and I must say it was worth it. What makes this festival great is that simply attending costs you nothing – it’s completely FREE. Otherwise, some of the aforementioned activities may cost only a few bucks.

Come out and celebrate San Francisco’s Italian side with a couple thousand of your closest friends – locals and tourists alike. It’s sure to be a good time.
