Come Hear Me Read About Falling in Love on the 71 Bus at Muni Diaries Live on Saturday

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Part of living in San Francisco means having a love/hate relationship with Muni. On the plus side is the fact that it’s an affordable mass transit system that allows many of us to live a car free life. On the minus side is that it never quite works like it’s supposed and that it often functions as an insane asylum on wheels. Many terrible, funny, depraved, and beautiful things happen on Muni nearly every minute and Muni Diaries is the website where people go to share their Muni related stories.

This Saturday Muni Diaries is doing another installment of their wildly popular Muni Diaries Live and I’ll be there reading a story about falling in love on the 71 bus. Yup it’s true, I met my first love on the 71 Haight-Noreiga. It’s a crazy story, but to hear it you’ve gotta come out on Saturday night. Other readers for the night include:

Hiya Swanhuyser, writer and San Francisco culture maven
Jesse James, Muni Diaries Live audience favorite
Joyce Lee, spoken word wonderwoman
Mahsa Matin and Elyse Bova, of Beat Feet Orchestra

Audience members will also be invited to head up to the stage and tell their own stories with the opportunity to win cool prizes.

All the info for the event is here.
The FB invite is here.
