FREE Magical Safari art at Roll Up Gallery

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

“An exhibition full of creativity and illusions that will transport you to a wild, new, exciting world…” where you will find “ferocious, vivacious, vigorous, cute, adorable and touching beings with whom we share the land: The animals.”

That does remind me a little of how I would describe a Friday night in the Mission, but what they’re talking about is a rad magical art adventure at the Roll Up Gallery in Public Works.

One of my favorite things is going on adventures, and it’s not everyday you get to go on a magical one with a group of talented artists. This show, curated by Betty Bigas, is a group exhibition featuring artwork by: Joshua Coffy, Deedee Cheriel, Joana Santamans, Xiau-Fong Wee, Santos Román, DeLa, Masako Miki, Shayna Yasuhara, and Chelsea Brown

If you want to cast off on your Friday night journey into the netherworld of San Francisco, I highly recommend making this show at Roll Up the dock you cast off from. Happy sailing!
