Last Minute Christmas Shopping at SF Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Market

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Admit it. You still haven’t done your Christmas shopping.

And those plans you have to make your own gifts for everybody on your list? You’ve got less than 2 weeks to make it happen. The Renegade craft fair can help. And I’m pretty sure they’ll let you in even if you’re still wearing your SantaCon outfit.

We’re talking about a huge, secluded room full of 250+ indie crafters, interactive workshops, music, food, and booze. Come to think of it, that sounds a lot like the North Pole… Here’s the official map of the fair layout.

What else? Santa’s elves do not disappoint:

  • Customize Gifts: The We/Customize team from the Oakland Museum of California will be there with their custom-made mobile museum. They do some cool work to personalize any object, even if it started out mass-market.
  • Food: San Francisco’s Workshop, they of the DIY food amazingness, will be there doing make-and-take workshops all weekend. Think Martha Stewart in wayfarers and skinny jeans.
  • DIY Gift Wrap Station: When I wrap my gifts they always look like a kid on cough syrup did it. Luckily the folks from Yellow Owl Workshop will be on hand to make your stuff look respectable.
  • FREE Photobooth! Magnolia Photobooth Co. team will be there with a digital version of the classic photobooth. A good potential excuse to wear your SantaCon outfit juuuuust that much longer…
