SF Law Firm Gets Barrage of Hate for Anti-Trump Sign

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you couldn’t tell, Pier 5 Law Offices is awesome. They are a a group of really progressive sole practitioner lawyers who have been fighting the good fight for over 40 years. In fact they’ve successfully defended more marijuana cases than any other group of lawyers.

As you can tell by the above photo, they also don’t mind making a statement. When I instagramed this a few weeks back it got over 1500 likes! But as you can probably guess, not everybody liked the sign.

I received an email today from one of the attorneys at Pier 5 who said they’ve been under attack by right-wing trolls for the past few days:

For the last two days our office has been under non-stop right-wing troll attack.  We’ve had to turn off our phones because of the threats pouring in.  Likewise our web presence is getting bombarded.

Take a look:  https://www.facebook.com/Pier5Law/

Hundreds of reviews in the last day or so.  All 1-star and most referencing the sign.  We have no idea what corner of the conservative political universe this is coming from, or if it’s a bot net or what.

So you know what your job is people: go on there and give them 5 star reviews. They are fighting the good fight for all of us. Help balance out all the shitty trolls that are trying to tank their business.
