Weed is legal, 4/20 is on a Friday, and this year’s San Francisco 4/20 will be more off the hook than any single-day marijuana event ever. Hippie Hill 4/20 Party
Here we see footage of last year’s magic 4:20 on 4/20 moment at Golden Gate Park, and the 2018 4/20 Hippie Hill is expected to draw more than 15,000 for yet another giant outdoor Grateful Dead-parking-lot-slash-weed-dispensary scene. Admission is free but you have to go through a security check, and they are asking people to register in advance (good luck with that, guys!) for the bacchanalia that goes from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
And of course we remind you that it is illegal to smoke marijuana in public.
420 at Shambhala
You want to get to Shambala early, because the first 200 customers get $1 grab bag! They’re running a ton of other crazy 420 specials all day, which you can find out more about by calling them at 415-970-WEED.
Señor Sisig Serving CBD Salsa On 4/20
Fave Filipino food truck Señor Sisig has partnered with cannabis-infused olive oil aficionados Pot d’Huile to “create a hemp-derived CBD green salsa available exclusively on 4/20” that comes free with the order of any dish. You can find the Señor Sisig truck at Hippie Hill all day, plus at several other SF and Oakland locations.
Apothecarium
All three San Francisco Apothecarium locations (Castro, Marina, and SOMA) will have gift bags for the first 100 people, the Castro location will have a photo booth with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and “guests will enjoy discounts up to 50% off cannabis and special deals in the boutique.” All locations open at 9 a.m., except the SOMA Apothecarium opens at 10 a.m.
