Best Places to NAP’a During BottleRock Music Festival 2019

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This last weekend at BottleRock brought together hundreds of musicians, chefs, vintners, brewers, and distillers for a three-day blend of music, wine, food, craft brews, and spirits. With so many wines to choose from BottleRock Music Festival is hands-down the best festival for getting wine drunk and taking a nap. Viewers can enjoy a live performance from any of their four stages with their eyes shut.

This year’s festival will amaze you with incredible wines from some of the most desired producers in the world. From crisp Sauvignon Blancs to delicious Chardonnays. They promise you won’t go thirsty while listening to your favorite music. It is a combination of the world’s biggest bands paired with the finest wine, food, craft brews, and spirits.

For the fourth year now, JaM Cellars presented the main BottleRock stage. Attendees could grab a glass of ButterCandyJaM or Toast then nap to take a nap during headlining acts Imagine Dragons, Mumford and Sons, or Neil Young! Crafted by Napa Valley vintners John and Michele Truchard (the “J” and “M” in JaM), you can enjoy their wine in front of their BottleRock stage or at the JaM Cellars wine and music studio in downtown Napa. Fans were excited to see Pacifico at BottleRock, it gave them a chance to take a break from wine drinking! Grab an ice cold Pacifico and listen to great tunes from Logic, Pharrell Williams, and Santana while you lounge by the Firefox stage.

Stay refreshed all day long with a good nap after your shot of Bulleit and a wide selection of bourbon and craft beers in the Bourbon and Beer Garden. Nothing pairs better with live music than a good drink, good friends and good bourbon.

Do you love a good nap paired with some of the hottest up and coming artist in the Bay Area? It’s never dull to combine Sterling Vineyards with Napa band Forgotten Dreamers. When looking for something truly inspiring, the artistic bottles by Amouse Bouche look amazing next to energetic sounds of Oakland band Shannon and The Clams. For those more adventurous souls, you might find solace in what’s different, combine The Prisoner Wine Company with San Francisco band Con Brio. The wine will do flips in your mouth while their lead singer Zeik does flips on stage.

For those less creative types, here are twenty-four photos that highlight the hottest places to nap while enjoying amazing live performances and some of the best wine, food, craft brews, and spirits Napa has to offer.

I am the co-founder of Balanced Breakfast, a meetup for music industry professionals. No, I do not sing or play any instruments ... but I have tried! My passion for music began at 7 when my parents bought me a drum set. I was BAD at drums. So I moved on, joined the school band, and played clarinet. I was BAD at the clarinet. Trying and failing at instruments continued through elementary school and into college. It turns out that while I could recognize good music; I lacked the skill to make it.

Now I'm broke, beautiful, and writing about music for Stuart...
