One of the few good things that came out of last year’s election was that California legalized recreational marijuana use. Finally we’d be able to walk into a shop without a prescription and buy some ganja to smoke or eat or dab or whatever the hell it is that weed scientists are having us do these days. Hooray!

The problem was that nobody really knew what that would look like so they’ve taken the last year to figure it out. Unfortunately the folks who run the City and County of San Francisco couldn’t agree on how to make it happen, so it looked like it would be pushed off until much later in 2018.

Well, good news stoney friends! Last night the Board of Supervisors finally came to an agreement and you’ll be able to buy grass without a prescription starting on January 5th. It seems the doctors that specialized in medical marijuana will be going the way of the encyclopedia salesmen. Shout out to them though for helping us get our hands on hash for all these years.
