For over 20 years the Luggage Store Gallery has been SF’s home for adventurous music. This Wednesday’s double bill features Happened Change, and the duo of Matias E.A.& Ari Brown. Happened Change is a trio presenting poetry and movement alongside improvised music, which will be followed by a set of freely improvised from Matias E.A. on guitar and Ari Brown on trumpet.

 

 

Grace Potter

Badfish, a Tribute to Sublime continues to channel the spirit of Sublime with a fury not felt for some time. ††† (Crosses) comprise the minds of Chino Moreno of Deftones and producer/multi-instrumentalist Shaun Lopez, who have each solidified their names with the brooding songs they’ve respectively made for years both separately and together. Destroyer (solo)

Sex & Psychedelics w/ Courtney Watson, Gwen Pelifini + Jess Alfaqih

This intimate conversation will provide insights into how psychedelics can potentially influence perceptions of sexuality, intimacy, and pleasure, and the ways in which altered states of consciousness affect – and often enhance – that exploration. The Stud Fundraiser

As You Like It and Public Works join forces to support the return of the legendary queer community hub The Stud. Since its inception in 1966, The Stud has been a sanctuary the alternative side of San Francisco’s queer community, and the years since its closure have left a void.

 

 

Bruce Bruce

Bruce Bruce is a name synonymous with keeping audiences rolling with laughter thanks to his captivating improv skills and larger than life comedic style. Nils Hoffmann

Andrew Schulz: The Life Tour

Her enthusiasm for music-making borders on frightening.

Donna Missal

In the confines of the early pandemic, Missal dove into bedroom pop recordings, using her powerful voice in a quieter way to avoid disturbing her neighbors. Since then, Missal has leaned into computer and dance music, space-filling singing, heated lyrics, big drums, and complex programming.
