DFT is giving Downtown SF a whole new makeover–think bigger, bolder, and oh-so-S.F. I spent the weekend in The Tortured Poets Department and loved every minute. On one of my listening breaks, I attended a friend’s backyard concert where I experienced a performance by Lady Starbeast. So much energy and very engaging. Check them out when you have a moment. An Evening With Violent Femmes
