Happy 4th of July! And a very happy birthday to Brother! His band, Eureka Sound, recently filmed with Sugarshack Sessions and the first clip was released this week. His band will be playing at Hopmonk in Sebastopol later this month (see below for the date.) As far as other events go, here’s what I’m excited for the week of 7/2 and beyond.

The Fraenkel Film Festival is an artist-programmed, 11-night event that we believe will be the first-ever film festival presented by an art gallery. We asked ten gallery artists including Nan Goldin, Carrie Mae Weems, and Christian Marclay to select two films that have been important to them. From July 9 to 20, their selections will screen—two per night—at the Roxie Theater. All of the proceeds from the festival will support the Roxie.
blink-182 w/ Pierce The Veil
