48Hills 11th Annual Gala: Women of Resistance

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

48 Hills was launched by the editors of the legendary SF Bay Guardian alternative weekly newspaper back in 2013. For more than a decade, 48 Hills has covered local and global music, arts, nightlife, and cultural events from a deep and fiercely independent point of view, as well as reporting on vital news stories and issues, with a diverse array of community voices.

48 Hills is a place where you can read original, independent community news by reporters and critics who know the city. Breaking news, analysis, investigative reporting, cutting-edge arts and culture.

And now you can meet, greet, and eat with the wonderful writers and editors of this publication in person and help support independent media in our city at the same time! Because…

It’s Party time! Celebrate 11 years of independent, community-supported media with 48 Hills, and some of the most amazing women in the Bay Area. On Saturday, October 5, they’ll be lighting up the War Memorial Green Room with complimentary food and drinks, live entertainment, special guest speakers, tons of local love. Get your tickets here

This year’s Reunion will celebrate local women’s resilience and the impactful changes they have initiated and sustained. To pay tribute to all women who have shaped history and propelled our communities forward—our commitment to amplifying these voices is our driving force.
