SFBATCO Presents New Roots Theatre Festival

The New Roots Theatre Festival is a 4-day performing arts festival that unearths artistic voices in the Bay Area, celebrates the development of new work, and uplifts BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ voices. Oakland to All Mini-Ball: Fashion, Runway and Vogue Competition

In essence, music became her first creative language and most trusted outlet. Classical training and a deep appreciation for music of all genres essentially underscored her life. This passion was funneled into her long-awaited full-length debut album, 2021’s Love Made Me Do It. A pastiche of shape-shifting analog synths, post-punk dreamscapes, gothic hues, and shy pop magnetism, her debut echos the eternal will of the perennially brokenhearted to love until death.

For nearly seven years, in what’s been described as “Lake Wobegon days with anal jokes”, Jason has told the story of his tumultuous life on stage every week.

Kushner’s music has been featured on Spotify’s “Roots Rising” playlist. His work resonates globally, establishing him as a significant force in the pop genre. Kushner continues to expand his fanbase and impact in the music industry.

Stabbing Westward
