This Drag Queen Purim Cabaret at the CJM Sounds Fabulous

There are few things San Franciscans love more than putting on costumes and partying. Luckily, there’s a Jewish holiday for that. It’s called Purim – basically the Jewish Halloween – and it’s about time everyone (Jews and non-Jews alike) found out how awesome it is.
That’s why the fine folks at the Contemporary Jewish Museum are throwing Night at the Jewseum: Purim Cabaret on Thursday, March 21st. As they explain it:
Join San Francisco’s favorite queens, featuring Miss Shugana, along with Queen Esther and the original He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named for a rollicking Purim drag cabaret. You too can be a queen when you create your own DIY crown at the craft table, and explore gender expression in contemporary art on view in Show Me as I Want to Be Seen.
