The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

All you broke-ass carnivores are being given an ultimatum this weekend—stay home or eat your vegetables. The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival will be hitting the Metropolitan Pavilion on Saturday & Sunday. Vegetarian food companies, restaurants, and health and wellness vendors will be all under one roof, spewing healthy meals and advocating this healthy lifestyle on you poor meat-eating slobs.

The festivities begin on Saturday, March 3rd at 10am and everything will wrap up at 5pm. The festival will continue on Sunday, March 4th from 10am-5pm. Both days will include activities, lectures, food samples and meals. Tickets can be bought at the door for $5 or you can get a two-day VIP ticket for $30.

Whether you’re already a vegan, looking to dabble into a healthier lifestyle or you’re just starving and need any type of food, stop by the Veggie Food Festival this weekend.

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

My father came, my mother saw...and I conquered. I encourage children to do drugs, I buy alcohol for teenagers, and I drink beer with the homeless. In my spare time, I attend art galleries for the FREE booze while rubbing elbows with modish elephants. I also hammer six-inch nails into small penises. Stuart knighted me as Broke-Ass King of New York. You've been warned.
