How To Make Sure You’re Entered In The $116 Million California Vaccine Lottery
California is awarding $1.5 million apiece to 10 lucky Californians who’ve gotten the COVID-19 vaccine. The cash drawings start this Friday, June 4, where 15 vaccinated Californians will win $50,000 apiece. Then next Friday, June 11, shit gets real real when another 10 Californians win $1.5 million each, as the Vax for the Win program takes its biggest shot that night. How can you make sure you are entered in the California vaccine lottery?

Unlike other states’ vaccination lotteries, all vaccinated Caifornians are automatically registered to win. “You don’t have to register to do this as is the case in other states,” Newsom said last week in his announcement. “You’re automatically registered.”
Nearly 6 months after getting COVID, me and hubby got our vaccines this weekend!
I owe @CAgovernor & the California Vax Lottery to finally pushing us off the cliff to go get our shots.

If you have not yet been vaccinated, you should get vaccinated in California by Friday so you’re eligible for the first drawing. Plus there are other kick-ass prizes available to the freshly vaccinated. SFist reports that “$50 pre-paid debit cards or $50 grocery cards will be given out to the next 2 million Californians to get their first shots.”
The rest of the world is literally dying for a vaccine and we have to pay people to take it here in America.

Vaccination rates are declining, so individual state’s governors are looking for ways to increase their vaccination rates. And state vaccination lotteries absolutely do appear to be working.
if I win the $1.5 million california vaccine lottery I am going to move to a one bedroom apartment

Funny, a dinner at French Laundry with Gavin is not one of the prizes. That woulda been fuckin’ hilarious, Gavin! Come on, Governor Newsom, there’s still time to add that prize before the June 4 drawings for $50,000 prizes, and the June 11 drawings for $1.5 million prizes.
Good luck!
