Giveaway: Acoustic Show with John Nolan From Taking Back Sunday
Remember phone booths? Remember the song “Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth with Money in my Hand?” It was the only hit for Primitive Radio Gods back in the late 90s, but one of the better calm, pianoy songs from the decade. John Nolan from Taking Back Sunday recorded a pretty awesome cover of it for his solo project. And remember when you got to see John and other bands play acoustic sets for FREE? If you said “yes,” then you’re a filthy liar because that hasn’t happened…but it can! John Nolan, along with Eye Alaska, Chris Unck, Antonio Longo and a few other bands that draw inspiration from soft core punk, glam rock and pop music are playing acoustic sets at Angels&Kings on Monday 11/23, and Planet Verge is giving us tickets to giveaway! Hot damn! To win the tickets, leave a comment below. I’ll draw the winner’s name at random out of a hat, and they’ll go pretend like they’re watching a taping of MTV: Unplugged.
