Cheap Date Auction Fundraiser at Reunion Bar Tonight
I assume that for those of you out there who have time to do luxurious things like buy pants and go on dates, the latter can be pretty expensive… not to mention how hard it is to find the right ones to begin with (well, I guess that’s true for both situations). But tonight at Reunion Bar, the folks behind the upcoming film “On the Hook” are throwing a Fundraiser Date Auction to help fund their new venture and your love life at the same time. Not only will they pick up the tab on your date (which is pretty huge), but admission is free and there will be happy hour specials all night to help with your liquid courage.
Self-described as a “a coming of age story about one man yielding to the grey realities of life, and breaking with his adolescent principles of relationships with women… a cross between the romance of Julie Delphy’s ‘Before Sunrise’, the comedy of Woody Allen’s ‘Annie Hall’, the gritty voyeurism of ‘New York, I Love You’,” sounds like “On the Hook” is a more than worthy cause.
