FREE Gingerbread Extravaganza (No Eating, Only Looking)
Christmas is over, but it’s not to late to stare at baked goods shaped like houses. Le Parker Meridien’ is a fancy hotel, but you don’t need money to check out their second annual Gingerbread Extravaganza. This year, they had several local bakeries build sugar and cookie creations inspired by movies that were made in New York.
So if you’ve ever wanted to see a King Kong gingerbread, you have until Sunday to go to the Parker Meridien Lobby. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can pay a dollar to vote for your favorites. But more importantly, that dollar will get donated to City Harvest and help feed hungry New Yorkers.
