$2 equals Two slices at Cer Te Today

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Texts rivaling the Dead Sea Scrolls in length have been written about the culinary wasteland that is Midtown. However, within its glistening confines lay hidden gems of tastiness waiting for the truly intrepid to happen upon them. Even better, at times they can be dumb cheap. Welcome, weary travelers, to Cer Te‘s delicious 2 for $2 special today.

As gourmet pizza goes Cer Te has a pretty decent understanding of what the people want. Tomatoes should taste like something, the cheese should have a tinge of salty goodness, and the crust should have some well charred patches to give you a pleasant crunch. While if you were to hop on to any downtown or uptown or anywhere-else-town train this would be much easier to come by, Midtown suffers the plague of omnideli pizza or that dollar a slice stuff that may or may not taste as good going down as it does coming up. Cer Te fits the niche of actually good Midtown pizza and today is no better way to sample the new place’s basic fare. Plop down two bucks and enjoy the cheesy goodness.
