Win Tickets to New York City Opera’s Séance on a Wet Afternoon and Small Black Performance
We previously talked up this amazing (and dare I say cheap) collaboration between The New York City Opera and L Magazine: Act 4, where you can score affordable tickets to contemporary opera shows and catch up and coming indie acts after the show.
Well the fat lady has sung people and there’s only a few shows left until the Act 4 series is over. Now is your chance to score two free tickets to this Wednesday’s showing of Séance on a Wet Afternoon followed by a performance from chillwave band Small Black.
Just a little background info, ‘Séance’ is the first opera written by Grammy and Oscar award winning composer Stephen Schwartz, who’s also responsible for Wicked and Godspell. The story itself is more film noir than your typical opera and involves an “ambitious psychic”, ransom and some emotional baggage. Color me intrigued!
To win, all you have to do is send an email to Laura@brokeassstuart.com. One winner will be chosen and random and we’ll add your name to the will call list for Wednesday night’s performance. If you email, we’re going to add you to our mailing list, unless you explicitly tell us not to. Good Luck.
