FREE Picasso Exhibit
Commonly known facts about Picasso: cubism, Guernica and the blue period. (Slightly) lesser known Picasso fact: he went through ladies as quickly as he did paint. And he frequently turned his mistresses into muses. One of his longest running affairs started with a barely legal French girl when he was 46.
Right now, the Gagosian Gallery has his drawings and paintings of Marie-Thérèse Walter on display. Normally, Picasso works are shown at expensive musuems you’d have to sneak into, but the show at the Gagosian is completely FREE. So you can pop in and see how many different crooked eyed portraits one girl can inspire.
