Last Minute Get Out The Vote Efforts In New York

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

The mid-terms are days away. This is the homestretch. Voting is incredibly important but so is getting OTHER people to vote. The only way to correct some of the awful things that Trump has done (and will continue to do) is to help turn the so called ‘Blue Wave into a ‘Blue Tsunami”. Here are some of the ways New Yorkers can help:

NYC Democratic Socialists of America: Get Out The Vote for Alexandria Ocasio Cortez

Saturday November 3rd at 4pm | Jackson Heights NY

Come canvass with the NYC Democratic Socialists of America and talk to your neighbors about Alexandria’s campaign. The goal is to drive a high voter turnout to show a mandate for Alexandria’s program of single-payer for all, housing as a human right and to abolish ICE.

It’s Go Time! Join the folks at True Blue NY to make phone calls and texts to voters on behalf of more than 12 candidates in crucial red-to-blue districts. Bring your laptop and your enthusiasm. Food and meaningful opportunities to change the world will be provided.

Women For Anna: Get Out The Vote For Anna Kaplan

Sunday November 4th at 11am |983 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington NY

Come get out the vote for Anna Kaplan for State Senate. Anna is running against a Republican incumbent to flip the senate, protect a woman’s right to choose and pass the Reproductive Health Act. Come out to rally, canvass and phonebank to make sure that every voter knows the stakes for this election.

Get Out Tedra’s Vote in Saranac Lake

Sunday November 4th 3:30pm| North Country Community College

The week before the election Congressional candidate Tedra Cobb will be criss crossing all 12 counties in the district meeting voters and rallying the troops. Come rally with her and show support for other local Democratic candidates as well.

Many of these races and incredibly close but with YOUR help big changes can come to New York.
