Rooftop Films Presents Dark Toons
Things that are very New York: accepting your bike as a piece of furniture, having an easier time finding a taco at 3am than computer parts during normal business hours, and making up for your lack of yard with an awesome roof top. And it’s late spring, so it’s time to make use of those roof tops with this year’s season of roof and park movie screenings is starting.
Tonight is the Rooftop Film Series presents Dark Toons, a collection of shorts featuring toys and chicken heads with special powers, a dragon stuck inside of a doll’s body, the world inside of a slaughterhouse, pulp fiction characters in a lost love story, a drug deal gone bad, and many more films exploring some darker aspects of life. As a bonus, Braids will play a set before hand and there’s free drinks at the after party!
