Beer Week Fest, at TJPA PARK, SF

For beer lovers in the Bay, this is the sweetest week of the year, where over 100 craft brewers from all over Northern California roll their kegs into the Bay for tastings, parties, parings, and any other excuse to come together and drink some of the finest brews in the world.

The Craft Brewing movement started in San Francisco in the 1960s (thank you Fritz Maytag), and the West Coast style has grown and spread throughout the world like a fine vine of hops in the springtime.  Beer Week is running Feb 20th - March 1st, 2026. And I’m kicking it off at SF Beer Week Fest on Saturday Feb 21st, and continuing around the Bay with dozens of delicious drink-ups.

We asked advanced cicerone Sayre Piotrkowski, a "sommelier for beer" if you will, who also runs the Bay Area Brewers Guild, about which Beer Week events should not be missed in SF and Oakland.

But don’t get too tipsy and forget! There are events ALL OVER THE BAY AREA, and you can see them all on the great SF BEER WEEK calendar here.

SFBW Fest is the tentpole event of SF Beer Week, and as close as you will come to a one-stop for those of you hoping to sample the many limited-edition collaboration brews and special releases that have come to characterize SF Beer Week over the past decade and a half!

Saturday, Feb 21 from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Let Muni move you from bar to bar as you sip, sticker, and celebrate San Francisco’s beer and transit culture during SF Beer Week, February 20–March 1, 2026. Explore 15+ participating bars across four Muni routes, collect stickers, and enjoy exclusive prizes — all while letting Muni be your designated driver.

This annual crawl features Hop on Muni IPA, a transit-inspired beer brewed in collaboration with Standard Deviant Brewing, San Francisco City FC and Muni (SFMTA).

Enjoy a five-course menu of our favorite dishes, with each course paired with both a beer and a wine. Bay Area Brewers Guild Executive Director, Sayre Piotrkowski, an Advanced Cicerone, will pair each course with a beer from a member brewery.

Suhayl Ramirez of Overshine Wines will handle the wine pairings. When it is all over, diners will vote for the best pairings for each course, and we will announce the winner.
