I can’t wait to see the costumes at both Giants Dog Days and Bay to Breakers this weekend! And in other Giants news this week, An Evening with Kruk & Kuip and an attempt at breaking a world record with Hunter Pence. Number one on my list though, seeing Murs on his final tour. That’s just the beginning of everything we have going on around the Bay! Here’s what I’m looking forward to the week of 5/13 and beyond.

These include a custom-made organ as well as the final glass harmonica constructed by Gerhard Finkenbeiner, a master glassblower who, in the 1980s, resurrected the instrument – first invented by Benjamin Franklin in 1761 – and then died in 1999 in mysterious, still unresolved circumstances. Frahm’s grasp of dynamics and tension has likewise expanded, and not only does he reinvigorate his work during concerts for this wider range of possibilities, but he also keeps developing it as he tours.
