A Rad Shirt But a Sad Shirt
Here's our tribute to 5 legendary San Francisco bars that have shut down in recent years. Is it a sad shirt? Totally. Is it a rad shirt? Indubitably. This shirt contains motherfucking multitudes.
📝 Stuart’s Note
This weather has been super weird. It was 77 degrees – in San Francisco – in July. I’m sure that’s happened before, but I don’t remember it. As you know, it’s usually foggy as hell in the summer months, so much so that we even have merch for a month called Fogust. Climate change is trippy. But at least the slow slide into apocalypse has a good soundtrack. Tonight I’m going to see La Doña at The Chapel!
SF Solved Two Murders in 24 Hours. It May Have Gotten the Wrong Men
The SFPD closed two homicides in a day. The key evidence is a car key, a confidential witness, and questionable police testimony. Kenyon and Kishawn Norbert maintain that they are innocent. Read the whole messed up story right here.

Did you know it costs almost $20,000 a month to run Broke-Ass Stuart?
You already know independent journalism makes very little money. We don’t get paid more if we expose corruption, we don’t get a bonus for giving free exposure to small businesses, we don’t get lucrative contracts for interviewing local artists or defending the Bay Area’s progressive ideals. We’re only able keep doing this because of readers like you.
If you find anything in this email helpful or important, we hope you'll become a member of the Broke-Ass Stuart Patreon. Join over 500 people who support our independent journalism each month. Plus you’ll get rad perks for doing so!
