Few and Far Women Celebrates 15 years on November 7th with an all-female lineup of DJs and MCs, a pop-up art show, exclusive merch, a look back at the crew’s history, and specialty drinks at 111 Minna in San Francisco!

Originally founded in 2011 by Northern California graffiti artist and skateboarder Meme, Few and Far Women is an international, women-led street art and skateboarding collective focused on supporting the next generation of women artists. The group hosts skateboarding and street art events that showcase the talents of its crew members and create opportunities for women to shine.

The Heart of Few and Far Women: Community

Operating almost like an extended family, Few & Far Women is an international network with community and mutual support at its heart. Members offer one another genuine support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow as artists. Artists help each other by collaborating on projects in different cities, connecting one another with opportunities when they come up and showing up for each other.

Where to See Additional Work from Few and Far Women:

The artists behind Few & Far are based around the globe, and you can find their work in cities within The Bay Area and all over the world. You may remember that we featured Few & Far Women on Broke-Ass Stuart when they took over the Napa Ruins in American Canyon with multiple murals throughout the sprawling space.

As of 2025, that space has become an event venue, but some of the murals are still available to view when you visit. You can even spot a few of the Few & Far tags in photos on the venue’s website! Back in 2022, there were rumors that the ruins would be torn down to make way for a housing development called Watson Ranch. Since then, however, it’s become clear that the plan is to preserve the ruins and make them a feature of the new neighborhood. Some say the development is still too ambitious to be fully realized, but I, for one, am happy to hear that the art and history of the site won't be completely lost to development.
