When it comes to his approach on curating cannabis for consumers, owner and CEO of Urbana Cannabis Shops in San Francisco, Marty Higgins has a clever motto “KISS” aka: KEEP IT SIMPLE SUNSHINE.

Urbana’s open floor concept was no easy plight, and it was the only way that Marty and partner COO Steve Sukman could see the experience working for cannabis consumers. As Marty and Steve celebrate 5 years of business, many things continue to change in the evergreen industry of cannabis, and the dispensary formerly known as Harvest has turned over a fresh face with the new Urbana brand. However, other things continue to remain the same.

For one, cannabis people still love a good party! Urbana is celebrating it’s brand launch with a leap year party on leap day February 29, 2020 called Leap of the Decade. The festivities will begin with an all day vendor market in both the Mission and Geary locations. Urbana brand partners are celebrating with a super sale Saturday February 29th, including promotional pricing, specialty SWAG and lounge exclusive pricing for tastings. The Urbana family is inviting the local cannabis community to participate in this very special birthday party. This is just the beginning of Urbana’s efforts to include community and incorporate local San Francisco popular culture.

With the recent news of the Compassionate Care Act reinstating donations of cannabis beginning March 1st, Urbana will also be hosting CANN Cannabis Beverage on March 1, 2020 for a brunch and brainstorming with local dispensaries to dig in on how to collect donations.
